Lizzie Appel, formerly Lizzie Vance, is a wordsmith and magician.

After ghostwriting 24 published books for a wide spectrum of thought leaders, celebrities, and gurus, and editing over 60 more books to completion, Lizzie discovered that her greatest joy lay in the practice of helping a soul with stories worth telling birth those stories. Plain and simple.

With a bachelor’s degree in creative writing and a master’s in rhetoric and composition, Lizzie spent the better part of a decade teaching writing at the college and university level; and in the sixteen years since she began writing professionally, she has developed a unique approach to guidance and support. Her methods are informed by the Amherst method of writing and editing, the publishing industry, and her precise, intuitive creative direction.
